Any sports where all those taking part (the ones that bother) know this is way down the priority list. Football and tennis spring to mind. Rythmic gymnastics and dressage have to be the most pointless. But credit where its due for bringing in women's beach volleyball, that'll get some great viewing figures - again.

Rythmic gymnastics is just dancing isn't it? Are they still going to have ballroom dancing?

I like the Olympics for sports you don't normally see. Table Tennis is amazing - the speed of the ball is something else. I also like cycling, diving, volleyball and boxing.

Strangely, I also like the weightlifting. It's the pained expressions and failed attempts I enjoy!

Is synchronised diving in?
It was in the last World Swimming Championships and should not be encouraged.

Also I would reduce the medals available in sports like Gymnastics, Swimming etc.

Table Tennis is crap......can't the organisers see you need a much much bigger table...and how about leaving some interesting items on it while playing ?

A lit candelabra, Liberace style for one..a few full decanters and some dirty dinner plates...that would get the players thinking !

Synchronised swimming now thats a exiting sport.I have though always wondered what would happen if one of the competitors drowned would it mean that their team mate would also have to drown as well.


and in the syncronised diving events they should have ultra quick draining pools , so that when they are in mid air......... oh well it would make it watchable.
