But still, if Reading are going to be paying, say, ALL of his £15k-£20k per week wages from Jan when he signed permenent, he is out of our league, no?

I've seen Tommy Fraser wearing old Brighton training kit in the gym before, it just means he has old stuff laying around, not that he loves the club.

Reasonable argument. His wages would be beyond that of our structure - obviously he would still love to come back (or would have) but he has a market value. Seems like a common theme that we wont pay too high wages. (can work for and against us)

Murray is a professional footballer and like virtually every other professional footballer, he plays for whoever pays him the most. He loved his time at Brighton and at Palace (and presumably at Reading) because he was/is scoring goals and presumably getting a huge wage AND a bonus for doing his job of scoring goals.

He's obviously a proven goal scorer but I doubt very much he would chose one club over another other than for location and £££.

Exactly. Same as Upson, right at end of career, could have had another season playing first team football with us, but instead chose to be 'around' the team at Leicester. Will always be money when you have such a short career

How many more reasons do you need to know this JUDAS should never wear the hallowed blue and white striped shirt again?

You forgot 5 more
