A few goals this season to fire us up to the championship. we spent all that money on him, he owes brighton a injury free season before he should be allowed to leave.

It doesn't work like that anymore, I'm afraid. Too many people these days seem to think that they can do what the f*** they like, when they like. No loyalty whatsoever. Hope he pisses off asap & we manage to (at the very least) get our money back.

He handed his transfer request last summer, we said no. He stayed, scored great goals for us and won us more than the 3 points we survived by.

He was professional enough when he played last season despite wanting to leave, it provided us with great great memories, shame it didn't work out

Dont think there is any point letting him go until we have found an adequate replacement

75% of footballers are mercenary....they will kiss the badge after scoring a goal 1-week to declaring there love for another club interested in signing them the next....Let him go as we should Lynch if they do not want to be her then so be it.....we will carry on without them and survive...

If his family can't settle down here fair enough. If there is more to the story than he or anybody else is letting on then that's disappointing. Would be very annoyed to see him at Leeds remaining injury-free and banging in the goals.

Ultimately we went and bought him, we didn't give him a contract as a favor or bring him through the ranks so he owes us nothing. Lets just hope in 18 months time we don't end up regretting the money we sold him for...

If we get £150,000 for him i'd be happy.
Not sure if that's wishful thinking, but without injuries, he's a 20-goal a season striker at this level.
Thoroughly f***ed off to see he's handed in another transfer request, but if he isnt settled then we have to let him go i guess.
If only we could've shipped him out in January so we didn't have to spend thousands on his rehabilitation.

I would rather have 1 John Crumplin on the pitch than 11 that are better that didn't want to wear the shirt.

Let him go if he wants.

What a dumb ass comment that is. Maybe his loyalty is to his child above anything else and if he needs to go back up north then so be it. Professional footballers are just employees but it seems too many supporters forget that and expect them to take the proverbial bullet for the club.

Well maybe if our medical team had identified the real problem far sooner and treated it then he might have been back an awful lot sooner.

I f***ing LOVE Glenn Murray, and I told him that. I told him that if he were to leave then I would be very disappointed, because he's BRILLIANT and we paid for him. So he's our player, and he should stay. But if he doesn't, that's a shame but that's life.

Just don't go to another league 1 club please mr Murray!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but before we bought Murray wasn't he told where he would be playing. It's not as if it was like, 'right we've sold you for a good price, off you go then. What do you mean where?.....Brighton, got a map?'
Maybe new players should have a probationary period, a bit like a job.
You pay them on a match by match basis for a half the season and if they like playing for you they sign, if not they go back.
Would save a fortune in transfer fees and you get the players who want to stay, just a thought mind.
