Hi guys,I joined your site last season after being very impressed with your lads after the final game of last season. Your side looked good for the coming season and your support for Boothy was tremendous. Re Dickinson. I saw him in most of the games he played on loan for Town last year and he made a difference in a poor side. Several of his goals were free kicks though he does not pose much of a threat in the air or in the box for a big lad, he tends to drift. However, opinion is divided. Personally I thought he was ok and certainly better than the alternatives last season. He could do a job for you Murray has also been linked with us, and as we still have not signed a proven 20 goasl a season scorer, inspite of several very promising buys. Is he any good? Reading the comments on North Stand Chat, he seems popular with you lads. Good luck for the coming season except of course when you play the Town.

But Dickinson is to replace Owuso.................

Plus RS stated he does not need or want to sell him.

How is he to replace Owuso who was only he on loan, yes we offered hima contract but apparently didnt go out of our way to get him to chose to sign it. So he wasnt foremost in the plans.

Plus we have Tunnicliffe who I am told has a longer throw than Rory Delap and then we sign a 6ft 4in striker what style of play does that suggest for next season.

Tunnicliffe and Dickinson would be the target men for indirect free kicks and corners. Ideally we could have Murray and Dickinson up front with Forster and Davies just tucked in behind them as part of the midfield diamond.
