Probably Wigan season before last. Far too much local booze - it was so nice I just couldn't stop, and when we got battered on the pitch, it was only right to drown my sorrows off it.

It all went hideously wrong and culminated in me walking face first into a lamp post. Ow.

Tend not to get drunk at games. I'd rather watch the match than spend my time pissing away pints of lager.
After the game is a different matter. After the Swindon championship game I was to be found singing round a bonfire in the middle of the road outside Finegans Wake, pissed as a very pissed lord.

Bury away a couple of years. When we arrived at Manchester Piccadilly for the train journey home, the police told us the train was dry because Chelsea fans had smashed up the previous one.

We had a 24 pack of Heineken Export and whilst my friends decided to hide they're cans I downed my 8 in the space of 20 mins, and then passed out on the train. Apparently I walked up and down the train a shade of white and vomited several times. :nono:

Not BHA, but England

When England played at Wembley I used to go to all the internationals.

We used to go on something we called the 12 pint express. Starting at Littlehampton where me and my mates all worked we'd have a greasey fry up in the morning, then a few tinnies on the train to Victoria, Couple of pints at Victoria, into the West End, couple of pints, onto the Sports Cafe, couple of pints, back into the west end, couple of pints, up to Baker Street area, couple of pints, out to Wembley, couple of pints.

I remember (or not) England vs Moldova. I was so ratted I didn't see the whole of the first half - I was just bent double in my seat wanting to puke. Lovely.

Gillingham away last season, don't really drink too much before away games but i'd had two bottles of wine aboard the sunshine bus starting at 12.

That coupled with some 'cigarettes' we had made for a confused Chappers at the Prisetfield. I also seem to rememer calling Harty after that game and was told by a mate who listened to the phone in that i wouldn't stop talking.

Rotherham away last season.

But that was nothing compared to how out of it I was at England versus Macedonia. We arrived in Southampton very early and spent the whole day in various pubs.I can't actually remember anything about the game(which is probably a good thing).

Darlo away, about 3 years ago (we won 2-0, Jones and Steele)

Was living and working in Yorkshire at the time, so went with few lads from work and was in the pub for 11.05am!!!

Hammered on lager, flavoured vodka (!) and double rums!! Stumbled to the ground, sobered up enough going thru the turnstyles as the stewards were in the process of denying entrance to another Albion fan who was too pissed, and then proceeded to watch the whole game with a hand over an eye, as I was literally seeing double of everything!!

Nearly got thrown out for jumpin all over the scaffolding in front of the poxy temporary away stand when we scored but it was a great day out, I remember that much!!!!

Plus Orient away about 10 years ago but that story is too long to describe now!!
