Most Wasted:

Palace away last season.

Had a couple in Grand Central and a couple of vodka shots to start the day off, before having a four pack on the 'special train'. As they had closed the pubs up there, we went to an off licence and drunk another load of cans sitting on some grassy hill by the high street.

By the time I got to the ground I was really wasted. I missed their 3rd and 4th goals because I was still in the queue for the burgers at the end of half time.

I didn't even know Brooker had been sent off until I got home!

Shit result. Got home and then went straight round to a house party at a mates house and drunk until the early hours.

Shitty headache the next day I can tell you.

Most Drunk:

Middlesbrough last week.

Fatboy, Turkey, Hilton, Soton Seagull and I started drinking in Newcastle dead on 11. By the time the match started we had had about 14 pints or so.

Didn't really get wasted, just very drunk. Thoroughly enjoyed the game and the atmosphere.

I remember in the North Stand during one of the last games a 14 year lad collapsed battered & chundered in the main area. People stole his wallet, coat (which he took off) and anything they could get their hands on!

Personally, I've never been truly drunk at a game, but I have gone too far on certain white powder - specifically at Cambridge away (first game of the season in Div 2 Champ Season) & Port Vale (last game of same season)

Went to reading v millwall about 2 year ago which finished 4-3 millwall and got hammered and jumped up when millwall scored which cheered the mates up.:lolol: :drink:

The last game at the goldstone v doncaster a load of us had a pub crawl around Brighton and walked to the ground stopping at every pub on the way.we started at 10,30 and by 1,00 the old bill were on our case.it was good humered but because of the circumstances you always thought something might happen.every time we came out a pub and moved along we had 2 old bill wagons following us.by kick off iwas soaking wet and didn't know what day of the week it was, summed up the whole day really:drink:

Pissoffpalace and did your mate ever pay you the money back? Worst state I have ever been in was the Holland v England game in 2002. Few pints in the morning, then off to the Coffee Shop across the road for tea and cakes. Back to the pub, decided the cake was crap so sparked up a joint. That did the trick, so a few more beers, then darkness. I am told we got the metro to the Amsterdam Arena, I think Kulivert scored, vaguely remember Vassells goal and woke up properly when the Fatty Taxmans mobile went off. Morale of the story, cake does work.... to top it all off we kept the hotel bar open until 4am and the owner was getting a tad nervous when the bill was approaching 500 euros.

Probably Wigan season before last. Far too much local booze - it was so nice I just couldn't stop, and when we got battered on the pitch, it was only right to drown my sorrows off it.

Remember it well for similar reasons. Flew up in the morning, so I was in Wigan for opening time. First pub we found: 90p a pint!! :drink: :drink: :drink: Fell out around 2.40 and spent most of the game running to the bogs for a piss! More entertaining than the game!

Never really done it. Enjoy getting drunk when on a night out but can't see the point of doing it at the footy because you don't get to enjoy the game and the price of the ticket is a waste. Might have to add it to my "To do" list though so I can make a worthwhile contribution to threads like this.

Palace away 1977/8 ish. Swapped my Albion hat with a female coppers hat in pub haviving overdosed on Guiness - she was not too amused. Apparently 2 Teddy Maybanks on the pitch. All sorts of nonsense on the way back to Croydon. Nuff said? :glare: :drink:

I harley ever get drunk before games, simply because I normally have so far to travel home, and I've always had someone in a pushchair that needs supervising - however: Rotherham away is the only one that I can do on a bus from my house. May 1999 I think it was & I was blotto, couldn't even find the bus station, let alone a bus. Had to drag the old man off a golf course to collect me.

I think I have learned my lesson, unless anyone knows aby different

Swindon away years ago, I slept on the terrace during the second half we lost 3-0 so didn't miss much.

It was the last match of the season at Shrewsbury (2001 Championes season). After Shrewsbury's third goal a streaker ran onto the pitch. When this appeared in the What Happened Next round on Question of Sport I had no recollection of this at all.

Plymouth this season was close, pints of 8% cider and then being threatened with being chucked out of the ground by a steward (from Swansea of all places) whilst I was in the bogs at half time.

Hoping to beat that some time this season.
