Millwall have signed former Chelsea and Leeds midfielder Jody Morris on a two-year contract.
Dennis Wise has swooped for the 25-year-old, who was a free agent after ending last season on a short-term arrangement with Rotherham.
"I've got no qualms about playing in The Championship," Morris told BBC London. "I'm happy to be here and I just can't wait to get started.
Morris previously worked with Wise and coach Ray Wilkins at Stamford Bridge.
"It was quite soon after the season I found out they were interested," he said.
"Obviously I know Dennis and Ray from before - they are two people I look up to and have helped me in my career before so it was a good step for me to come and work with them again."
