The best way the club come out of this if he does go is by sticking to our guns about a high fee. He goes and can say “well £80/90/100m was irresistible”

Shame it’s not a league game Sunday we would get our answer if he’s not in the squad then we know he’s offi
I actually think it is a bit disrespectful. Why didn’t he wait till June? It pisses me off that we have the best team we have ever had, the best position we have ever been in and we are allowing contracted players to leave. Makes you think we are all about making money from our best players…..I assume Mac allister will be off soon too! Maybe it’s just me but I am seriously f***ed off about this! Where is our ambition, or is it just to try and stay in the prem and sell our best players for top dollar? £75 million to bloom is nothing…so what is the point
This is going the same route as Cucurella same bullshit from the club, remember the tweet from the club saying he is a Brighton player not a Chelsea player sold the next day.

That was a bit different - more of a 'he hasn't signed yet' type statement. These are more 'we're not selling this window'.

But, yes - doesn't mean we won't/aren't.

Morale will be so low amongst team and management if he leaves this window. We absolutely need to make a statement signing in his position if this happens because RDZ will be feeling mugged off.
It's all such a shame.

The statement begins:

Moises......

Clearly written by someone else (agent) and presumably sent to him.
excellent spot. i though the quotes odd, now you point out the address, there's also the squares at the end - cut and paste non-standard characters.

think this isn't at all a done deal.

I’m now more convinced he won’t be sold than before tbh. I don’t think either Bloom or Barber will want to be coerced into selling like this, totally the wrong move from the agent. Trossard created a situation where he was no longer wanted but Caicedo is just trying to create a pressure/force situation and neither of them are men who’ll give into that.

The problem is, can we even play him now after a move like that? I wonder what his relationship with RDZ will be like now?

The club don't have to say yes. Kane wanted to go to City in the summer, but Spurs said no. It happens. And £60m isn't enough IMO.

I agree and I like to think De Zerbi would tell the club that selling him isn't an option in this window. When De Zerbi was offered the job it would have come with the club making assurances and outlining a plan for investment. Selling top players in January wouldn't have been part of the deal, and if we're just going to sell everyone then De Zerbi is frankly wasting his time here.

And think how demoralising it would be for all the other players. What's the point in them putting in all the effort if they're just going to keep losing key teammates?
Absolutely spot on. It’s sets a massively dangerous precedent. Other payers will think what’s the point, there’s no ambition. The performances/intensity will suffer. We want players to progress but f*** off Moises. Put him back in the Under 23’s for the rest of the season rather than sell him. I honestly think that. We have to keep him for this season. We can’t keep progressing/doing alright with this costant exodus. Keep him till the summer whatever (yes, yes I know it’s not my money). You’ll get another opportunity. Keep him unless it’s more than £100m.

This 100%.

TB must not be pushed around with 5 days of the window left and we’re flying.

It would undermine the brilliant work of RDZ mid season.

Let a wider pool of clubs enter a bidding war in the summer.

I agree £60 million is not enough especially given the timing. The club are in a strong position to demand good money given the length of contract and club setup. I personally think he’ll still be with us come the end of the window unless the club get an offer over at least £80million probably closer to £100 million.
We will see if other clubs up the price as the end of the transfer window gets closer.
Just very disappointing from Moises

The club will be absolutely furious. Our efforts with young foreign players in terms of helping to settle etc is huge. It's a massive slap in the face. Absolutely no gratitude and he's been appallingly advised..tragically it'll work in his and his agents favour ultimately. Football has gone to shit.
