My minor moan was the signage, inside and on the way to the stadium, was virtually non-existent. Not very helpful. And, the PA was ridiculously loud where we were sat. Fair enough two minutes before kick-off to get the crowd going as the team run out, but the full build up was way too loud.

Your two moans have something in common with our thoughts on the way to the ground.

We couldn't find the stadium due to lack of signage, but then managed to find our way by hearing the extremely loud PA whilst a good couple of miles away. :lolol:

Well it was fairly obvious it was a football stadium from the walk from Fenny Stratford

Blimey, you think that is bad...in March I went to see River Plate play in Buenos Aires...we were frisked three times by the Police on the way into the ground, they were also breathalising people at random, anyone over a prescribed limit was denied entry to the ground.

We had problems finding stadium:mk , no roadsigns , not on satnav so had to get the postcode from directory enquiries. Should have parked in Asda's car park but forked out a fiver to park in the stadium car park which took half an hour to get out of.

Totally manufactured place, with no natural atmosphere. The stadium is weird also, with all that uncompleted seating on the upper tier. As we left (Turkey, Captain Haddock and yours truly), the PA announcer was trying to whip up some kind of atmosphere. It all felt dreadfully American, what with the huge KFC and McDonalds as well. Perhaps those are the MK Dons' pre-match pubs? To be fair, we did find a couple of really decent pubs in the old village areas that are now part of the city - the Plough at Simpson, and the Red Lion at Fenny Stratford, but they were both full of Albion fans, without a single MK Dons fan in either.

Though there appeared to be a couple of Wimbledon fans there!

Stadium:MK is indeed a strangely soulless experience. Coupled with the end of season dead-rubber lethargy and a game to match, it was a borefest of the worst kind.

At least we could all enjoy a bit of a laugh with the inflatables......what?......oh!
