Weren't Right Said Fred and Lawrence Fox pushing conspiracy theories about defibrillators? Perhaps it was related to that.

Yep - following an Instagram post that went round of a guy in a playground in Nottinghamshire pointing to a yellow defib pad saying it was proof that children were dying from heart attacks

The conspiracy is - Apparently, defibrillators being installed at public locations are a sign of a cover up that the effects of the Covid vaccine were harmful to your health and kids had been ‘dropping like flies’ with heart attacks (ignoring the fact defibrillators were appearing around the country in public places before Covid) - but the defibrillator conspiracy somehow manages to include the cause of heart attacks due to the ‘harmful effects of 5G’ (which has generated it’s own string of conspiracy theories)

False: Defibrillators have been installed in children’s parks to counter the risks associated with 5G.

These pads can save lives, particularly people who suffer from arrhythmia - that’s nearly 2 million people in the UK that’s known - but invariably heart problems are newly diagnosed as a result of someone crashing during activity, such as playing sport so defib pads are particularly essential around playing fields and gyms- how these mindless thugs think it is ok to destroy literally life saving equipment is beyond me - these things are expensive and often donated by charity.

Perhaps they should bring back compulsory National Service - let a few drill sergeants knock the stuffing out of them.
