Millwall Arrest

Whats wrong with that statement?

Over here the FAI force fixed seating on potentially violent matches, e.g. St. Patricks Athletic vs Bohemians

All Millwall matches are potentially violent.

Assuming Millwall fans have superhuman powers and can leap a hundred yards into the air then I guess they might have had an outside chance of landing in a stand of 1200 Albion fans...:jester:

I saw this take place and also noticed that to our left the Millwall fans took great exception to whatever was thrown at their keeper and they highlighted it to the police who were monitoring them. If this guy got arrested or thrown out will he be banned ?
Will the club highlight his bad behaviour as has been done about 2 fans from Crewe ? Was he on the Costa Express ? Is throwing water that bad to warrant a ban ? It was at Millwall ? If he throws anything at Withdean will it reach the pitch ? Was minnie me arrested aswell or just helped out of the ground ? Who really gives a f**k ? If he gets a ban then we have 2 more tickets available for the Spurs match.

All Millwall matches are potentially violent? What a f***ing joke.

This is no more true then the fact that any gathering of that many people is potentially violent.

Millwall had the lowest number of arrests at football of any league club last season. They have worked long and hard to get rid of the troublemakers and gone to great lengths to do so, including sticking to their 'members only' ticket application instead of cashing in on their cup run and euro games by letting anyone in.

Millwall are a model of how to make football matches safe.

I totally agree with that.

However, a friend of mine paid on the gate to get in the East stand on Saturday, as he assumed he wouldn't get into the away end without a ticket, so they don't actually seem to police their membership scheme that well.

I was in the front row, and why Millwall supporters took exception to the drink throwing incident, is that they believed that the missile was aimed at the Ballgirl who had taken an age to retrieve the ball, and who was standing 10ft away from the goalkeeper. That is why they started shouting 'scum' 'scum' 'scum' a minute or so after

Who's that, Derry versus Limerick? Bet that's like a COULDRON. :jester:

IS EVERYONE OUT THERE puzzled by this strange word?

Let me explain. It's a little-used expression meaning COULD RON Atkinson find this funny?

I reckon the old racist could. He LOVES Irish jokes!

Not at all. It worked very well. But there were loads of empty seats.

The complete segregation of home and away supporters all the way between the railway station and the ground makes the Den one of the safest venues I've ever been to.

The ground might be safe, but I saw one Millwall neanderthal slap a brighton boy on South Bermondsey station at 2.15pm and police got involved and then on the way out we had to get on the same train as them and it nearly went off again.

Safe ground once you reach the walkway, unsafe on the station and train for those who wore colours

Isn't it JUST one of the most sweetest and endearing things about NSC to see one of the little monkeys sticking up for the organ-grinder?

I'm only quoting this to show that, occasionally, London Irish DOES get things wrong.

Blimey, I corrected that within about 20 or 30 seconds.

Absolute KUDOS from me at your keen devotion to pick up every NSC post the instant they appear
