I know what I am talking about because I have watched and read the same material as you have. Loose change, 9/11 truth etc. etc.

The difference is I am able to watch this stuff and listen to people like Alex Jones, then read the material he refers to and see immediately that the bloke is a nut and not worth paying any further attention to.

This would be more like "research" as I understand it rather than that I have seen discussed on here.

But some parts of the offical story is complete ballshit too.

thats the really interesing question isnt it? i've always had a problem with the pentagon hit, because there does seem to be the lack of a plane. however, if it didnt collide, where did it go? who were those involved in shotting it down or landing then destroying it and killing all the passengers. hmm... starting to be rather complex and far fetched now, no one saw any of this. meanwhile there were some debris of an aircraft at the pentagon site. was this got out of a truck prehaps and littered around? apply occams razor to find the answer.

please dont cite Zietgiest as evidence. it has basic factual errors, false assumptions and unfounded hypothosies right from the start. it might have a few interesting points and a few facts hidden away in there, but it is a work of fiction, like Dan Brown or Agatha Christie.


on 9/11, there are so many "facts" prsented by the conspiracy side, it can be easy for people to get swept away in it. but often, there is no grounding in physics or reality, they will build straw men to burn down as their evidence, while not having a consistant narrative tying all "facts" together.

for example, the fact that airline option prices changing in the days before means that someone knew about it which is self evident (they didnt plan it that morning). it could just as easily been a hijackers's broker friend, Bin Laden's contacts, the CIA/whoever's contacts. its irrelevent.

consider that the "evidence" of explosions in the basement are eye witness reports, they come from people some way away at the time of collapse - therefore they are unrelated to the actual collapse. probably things falling down shafts, do you know the difference between an explosive detonation and a gas cylinder go off or a lift falling 30 floors and smashing? i particularly love this "evidence" as it directly contradicts the argument thermite was used, which does not detonate but burns/melts though extremly fast. apply occams razor...

Fair enough. I would NEVER be able to argue with you.

For me there are two arguments.

If I was to use the simplest answer I would say the Bush Government was completely incompetent as in nobody new what they were doing and there is some stuff that does not add up.

I'm also intelligent enough to realsie there is a psyological reason people would rather it was the Government that done it rather than some random people just hell bent on killing anyone. The mind needs to find reason for things.

I just think being blind to certain truths is wrong.

"Clearly" is an understatement, "Plain obvious" or even a "complete and utter" would combine better with "bellend" when describing the personality of the The Truth.

but why engineer such a complex event? why the Twin Towers? why at the start of the business day rather than 1am in the morning? surely would have had exactly the same galvanising effect without the loss of life. whats the purpose of the other two planes in this, and why engineer the attack the pentagon? why not just have a single hijacked plan announce their demands, implicate the Taliban regime, then crash into the sea?

The invasion of Iraq was already being primed with the weapons inspections, i think a few planted nuclear/chemical containiments on some sites would have sufficed there. the invasion of Afganistan really serves little purpose (unless you believe the conspiracies), but if you wanted to overthrow an unwanted regime a couple of random terrorist attacks, or a few attacks on US military bases, or better still coax Pakistan into an invasion, would have done a better job without so much risk. you'll notice how in both invasions the US Military have been found to be hopelessly underprepared. we are supposed to believe they engineered events to give a reason for invasion, but forgot to properly plan for the execution of that action?


oh, and Loose Change is the product of a undereducated teenager with too much time on his hands and probably not enough attention from his parents. its stunning that after all this time people still give this any credence, when so many of it basic claims are shown to be false.
