Money aside....he was great for us and coming back would solve a problem or 2. It might also allow us to be more flexible on our we play Pervis i.e. defensive midfield, he has the stamina and pace..

But it would shatter the “no dick heads policy”

This is almost as funny as when that Locadia to Barcelona rumour happened

I’ve had a rethink on this. If Chelsea paid the bulk of his wages and we don’t sign another FB, yeah I’d have him back on loan for a year. He’d get game time as second choice and how funny would it be if he came back and refound the form he had with us?

Come on, it would be bloody hilarious, you know it would be!

I typed the above before I saw the development with United btw

If he does go to United, we get to boo him again.
Now I'm on for this. He wasn't a bad player and would be a great back up to Pervis which we do need. Back in a loving environment I suspect he would find a bit of form again and I can't believe the loan wages would cover what he is currently being paid.

But, most important of all .........................

.... it would be f***ing hilarious from the Brighton taking the piss out of Chelsea even more perspective :lolol:

Which is why it won't happen

I think some people would BOO him if he played for the Albion again!

United planning a swap deal with Sancho, was one suggestion I saw...

Seems to be a working assumption on here that he’d want to come back even on loan, can’t see it personally, even if he left on good terms

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned elsewhere, but, it appears that Chelsea has cocked up Cucurellas proposed loan move to Manchester United by playing him in the Caribou Cup last night.
United wanted him available for all games.

Shame he will end up being a bench warmer at best for his dream club this season.

But his wages would be ‘hundreds and thousands.’
Off to Italy. Apparently he fancied a bit of the Neapolitan lifestyle.

United deal off, have we hijacked it?

Maybe this is Paul Barber’s surprise…
