It is for the 200 low-paid employees who lost their jobs in the wake of ManU's midweek loss in El Crapico
I think it's reasonable to feel sympathy for the low-paid employees, not have any sympathy for the incredibly well-paid players, and think the owners are total arseholes all at the same time.

Fair enough :lolol:
To be briefly serious, the players must have signed up for these tours in their contracts, and if they didn't they really need to be asking some serious questions of their agents.

Either that or they're given the choice and say they're willing to play in them for more money, which again is their problem.

Or maybe they willing to play for free, which would be adorable. :lolol:

Not even a smidgeon of sympathy for the players being flogged to death in pursuit of the bottom line? A tad harsh. IMHO, like

If the players didn’t want to go surely they’d have their agents kick up a fuss, no doubt they’ve all got lucrative sponsorship deals to forfil while on the trip so it’s not just the club bottom line that benefits. And they’ve got themselves Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday nights off next season so swings and roundabouts.

It’s not like most other Premier League players are off on their holidays anyway, between full internationals and age group tournaments some players won’t be finished until the end of June.

Maybe so, but it's not even 24 hours since the end of the season. Just the thing for those aching legs, a 14 hour flight straight after. Even in non-cattle class that is going to hurt in the morning
