i agree with most of that but think Carrick is a better player than Parker...

his passing is not consistent enough...

I just think Parker is more dynamic, there are games when he pulls the team up and gets them playing through his energy and drive. I have never seen Carrick do this. Often he is anonymous.

u have a point but Carricks short and long passing is pretty exceptional... i don't see him as a ball winnings midfielder whose game relys on that but other attributes to his game make him the player he is...

That my problem though, he plays in that deep role but he is not a ball winner, but when he is pushed up he slows down play and doesn't really get into the box. He needs to improve one of those areas if he is gonna be the player people say he is.

Yes because he also adds something with his free kicks and makes things happen when he pushes up into the final third whereas as I rarely even see Carrick push up that far.

Parker is a better player hands down than hargreaves and carrick he gives you 10x more options than carrick and hargreaves a player who was similir to parker is what we need here and every club in the country someone who gets back and stuck in leads his team but also very good at getting forward and a fine passer of the ball he can also read the game brilliantly aswell

What is more surprising is that Old Trafford was not full.

Considering that United are "The biggest team in the world" (c) The fawning media, this is surely a worry for Mr Glazer.

Having said that, there is only ONE United in Manchester, FC United

Parkers passing is very inconsistent...

on a good day hes a very good player but he doesn't have enough of those days in my view...

On the floor his passing is great but long balls he is not the greatest but would united need that or england in that matter if you have rooney playing deep parker would just need to knock it on or through to rooney!

Got to agree with that. Fulham are dire plus Man Ure always bully the shit teams but never get results like that against any half decent sides.

oh so they didnt beat Chelsea or Arsenal then?

Why don't you read what I wrote and then make your little comments. After all you did quote it.

My point is before people start going spunk crazy about how united are gonna win the league or challenge Chelsea closely they need to wait a bit and not just go on a 5-1 win against a shite team.

I saw you getting aggressive with Algie yesterday and while I agreed with your points and think he is a bit of a knob don't start coming on here and giving the f***ing big ones.
