I don't go for the stability and consistency a great deal. Afterall, we were consistent with Martin Hinshelwood was Manager.

Adam Hinshelwood played left back for at least one match. I thought he looked comfortable and OK.

It seems most teams get their goals from going around either full back and crossing. This season we would be better off playing a youngster alongside Guy Butters or Danny Cullip at the back and playing Danny Cullip in the Virgo role in front of the back four.

Grimsby were a dirty side yesterday.

  Congratulations Yorkie on the understatement of the day:clap:

:D

How they reached half-time with a full complement of players is beyond me...as for the ref, sorry Yorkie, disagree with you on that point. If he'd had have any guts he'd have sent at least one of their dirty bastards off. Because he was a wimp Grimsby defenders had a field day-clattering anybody in yellow.

I thought Danny was going to get booked for the retaliations he managed to get in but he somehow managed to keep them hidden.

When Leon was barged, shoved, kicked over the back line and hit the advertising hoardings I really don't know how someone didn't walk for that.

That's why when the keeper was sent off the ref finished the match as soon as possible so that all out war didn't break out.
