Jakey Robinson

His work rate was terrific. A beautiful cross right into the area (and not one burke to take advantage of it) and getting into good positions, sometimes with acres of space.

Chippy. In a 2 man midfield, he and Charlie ran themselves into the ground. We need someone who can put their foot on the ball and slow things down in the middle though

Jake, with Virgo a close second.

From what I heard (OK, I was on a bridge over the A27 at the time), it seems to have been Virgo.

But is a vote for Virgo just an endorsement of McGhee's policy of constantly chopping and changing the team?

We need stability and we're not getting it at the moment. I know injuries are a problem but, for all that, McGhee does seem to like experimenting.

How about OGH in goal next time?

:)

I see someone voted for Benjamin. According to Radio Humberside the Grimsby keeper headbutted him because he had grabbed hold of him somewhere where it hurts!

Agree. That nomination had to be a joke, right. Completely out of his depth in midfield, which is hardly surprising as he is not a midfielder. What was McGhee playing at?

Jake put most of his team mates to shame.

Who voted Trever Benjamin?
Jake for me as people said above excellent work rate, good first touch and was the only player who seemed to have confidence and conviction about what he was doing. Which is a bit worrying.???

Virgo made Oatway look decent and Robinson showed Knight up.

It's about time Knight pulled his bloody finger out and looked like a bloody striker!

Benjamin was poor again today as he was at Luton.

Not a persn then or is it
Yeah. McGhee has a great tactic of picking 1 in midfield plus 2 other people who can't pass the ball. 4-3-3 will be fine if he picks the right players next to Chippy - and, no, I certainly don't mean David Lee.
