Just wondered what thoughts were about MacKail-Smith as a transfer target in January? I think he'd compliment either Barnes or Murray not sure if Wood will stay as a long-term option. Was very impressed with his pace and work rate against us at Peterborough this year, also has a very good strike rate of 99 league goals in 239 league appearances and has played at championship level.

Charlie Austin not proven at Championship level could be a risk, would be good to get an old experienced pro in as well I think maybe Kevin Philips from Birmingham if we could afford him for a season
