I think he's probably one of the most exciting players ( not best, but exciting ) that I've seen in the Stripes for my 35 years of following us.

I understand that he is out of contract in the summer so will be a free agent.
Depends on what sort of salary structure that the club wishes to pursue but I am sure that, in our position, we will not wish to go out of line for any one player, who knows, but accordingly KLL may go elsewhere if not NUFC as one cannot rely on sentiment when talking about personal income.

Our Gus is not daft, i would guess he texted Kaz not only to thank him, its to make him feel wanted/special. Keeping in contact and paving the way to his re-signature.

Would you sign him Robot? We had a similar situation with Calderon after injury. Saints dithered we didn't and the rest is history.
Kaz has not lost his skills or ability, only his temporary fitness level. Class is permanent.

But he's a back up rarely bench player for them and they just got a massive transfer slush fund with the Carroll deal. Could easily offer him a year at same wage and then say to us, yours for 1 mil

To be fair at present he is not good enough for the prem, yes I'd love to have him but he still makes the wrong decision too many times (a little bit like Noone), with coaching and experience he may be a prem player in 2/3 years (hopefully with us).
