Gus was asked a question in a post-match BBC interview. His answer (truthfully) was "Dunno". Now the BBC are trying to make a story.

There isn't one. "Dunno" is the end of it.

It's one of Gus' famous throwaway lines that keeps popping up in different places as it does the media rounds whenever there is nothing to report. It says exactly that. Nothing to report.

it's a legitimate story given the kid is setting the league on fire. Crikey, you would be more surprised if people weren't talking about him, he's scoring goal of the season every week at the moment!

Considering it took over a month to sort out his half season loan, is there any wonder Poyet is dropping huge hints to Newcastle now about how happy LuaLua is here and that its doing him good to be playing every week.

He is a diamond, but I was pleasantly reassured that pretty much we didn't need him on Saturday. 2-0 up without him, his appearance was the icing on the cake rather than the cakemaker itself! to use a cake metaphor that doesn't work very well.

Exactly  How frustrated have the likes of Fergie been when they've sent their young stars out to get experience and they end up on a lower teams bench. Newcastle are seeing their asset play every week with a promotion challenging team, they are getting as much out of this deal as we are.:lolol::thumbsup: (well, nearly).

One hopes Newcastle see him as one for the future and let him stay with us until the end of the season.

bit of a non story though from the Beeb.. of course its up to Newcastle hes contracted to them.
the bigger worry would be that hes making too good a name for himself and a championship club will snap him up in Jan (either on loan or a perm deal)
