It's a bit of a worry that he keeps scoring now.People on here were only saying he had no end product to his game and wouldn't do anything in the premiership which was a fair assessment.
What worries me is that he could actually do some damage in the prem if brought on for the last 15 mins to inject some pace etc.
If Newcastle are fighting relegation then i cannot see him being loaned back..
Lets hope Newcastle are top half come jan and allow us to continue his development.

i hate it we have to stick with "continue his development"

We should be able to buy him and continue it for the benefit of the club not because we gotta keep Newcastle happy...

ugh loaning players sucks!

If his value has increased on the back of playing for us, that ought not to be a consideration should we wish to negotiate for his signing.

We could (legitimately) claim that his worth has increased BECAUSE of the work Gus and his team has put in.

I agree, but I don't really believe football works like that. In reality, one chairman calls another chairman about two/three players - if they need the money they sell, if not they don't.

Look at some of the shocking deals Brighton have had over the years (Holsgrove and Virgo aside) - just over a million for Zamora was far too cheap at the time as he was only going to get better and better, but as we HAD to sell, he had to go.

Newcastle don't HAVE to sell - he's only young and clearly far too good for this league so expect him on the bench at Newc in the new year and pushing the first team.
