Like they changed their mind and didn't put us on a Monday night ??OK then, but why can't Sky now change their mind and pick an available game with something hanging on it?

They have a load of channels.
They could show every game
I think its a great choice by Sky...I can be REALLY TINPOT and boo them both at the same time! Sorry Snowflakes if this is upsetting. Why?
Other than the presentation, which could be covered anyway.
Surely Newcastle, Spurs or Man City have something hanging on the result.
They were going to show it until they realised they were playing Brighton & Hove ‘No trophy in 115 years’ AlbionSurely Tottenham ‘first trophy in 17 years’ Hotspurs should be on the tv
Next season with the new TV deal every game will be shown on the last day I believe. It seems ridiculous they don't show every game on the last day of the season, in the UK. They're already getting streamed around the world, so it's not like they'd need to do much.
In our seriousness, it does look like the finishing point of the parade will be held in a Stadium which is a considerable upgrade to Selhurst parkNot worth a thread of it’s own, the Palace Cup Victory Bus route
This did make me smile

Also, nice to spot that Crystal Palace were formed in 1905 (not sometime in the 17th century as I think their fans like to think). In our seriousness, it does look like the finishing point of the parade will be held in a Stadium which is a considerable upgrade to Selhurst park

Crystal Palace in talks to end trophy parade at abandoned UK stadium left to rot
CRYSTAL PALACE are preparing to head back to familiar territory as they celebrate their historic FA Cup triumph. The Eagles ended a 119-year wait for a major trophy with a 1-0 win over Manchester C…www.thesun.co.uk
Cute how they are using palace as the reason to show LiverpoolIt's clearly been selected because, and there's absolutely no hyperbole at play here:
Liverpool and Crystal Palace fans set for “greatest celebration of all time”

Sky had first pick which was Forest v ChelseaApparently, from another broadcasting forum the reasons are as follows -
1. Due to their current broadcasting contracts for this season, Sky only had two game picks left and TNT had one game pick left, so only three games can be shown this Sunday contractually.
2. If Sky hadn't picked the Liverpool game they risked TNT picking it. If that happened at meant that while Sky could show coverage of the on-pitch trophy presentation but wouldn't be the "host broadcaster" so wouldn't have live access to pictures from other parts of the stadium such as the tunnel area or dressing room.
Indeed, who would pass up the chance to broadcast the historic final visit to St James Park by the team from GOODISON PARKSky had first pick which was Forest v Chelsea
TNT had second pick which was Man Utd v Villa
Sky could have chose any of the other 8 games - most are very surprised that Newcastle v Everton hadn’t been selected
Because Newcastle can get Champions League, it is the 3rd most high profile game of the weekend.Indeed, who would pass up the chance to broadcast the historic final visit to St James Park by the team from GOODISON PARK![]()
I’d rather watch City Fulham - I expect that game to be a lot closer than Newcastle’s and it’s a bigger story if City miss out on UCL football.Because Newcastle can get Champions League, it is the 3rd most high profile game of the weekend.
