'Like' button on NSC?

lots of posts make me chuckle. Or sometimes i wholeheartedly agree with what the poster is saying. I feel the need to let them and others know, but don't want to clutter up the board with "this' posts, or smilies.

Would it be good if we had a like button on posts, like on facebook?

Is it even possible?

I MUCH prefer a personal response. If I could do away with the 'Like' click on Facebook I would. You call it clutter - I call it reaching out and....touching.

Facebook don't have a 'dislike' button yet!

There was for a bit. My missus used it everytime my status was football related.

Think it would be a good idea, maybe it could be used as some kind of rep level.

And Experience Points so we could level up.

It is possible to have a "thanks" button though, people click it and a box appears under the post like this.It then shows how many thanks individual users have had.

Liking a thread on NSC? The whole thread? What about posters you think are twats? You don't like them.

But no one would look at who has liked a post would they? They'd just see "10 people liked this" or something. I agree it should be a proper reply if you like a post. You will never de-clutter NSC, and nor should we try
