Brighton
Withdean to Wembley
Hartlepool to Hampden Park.
His name wouldn't go on a bus yet, in any case. The names are of dead people.
Must have missed Norman Cook passing away. The Brighton podcast must have been the last thing he did.
And I'm gutted that Leo Sayer's gone too. His family will be shocked.

It's high time that our talismanic skipper was honoured in Brighton and Hove and I don't mean with a bus named after him like Leo Sayer or Alan Weeks.
I looked at the title of the thread and immediately thought it would be a link to Dunk discussing why continuing to play attacking football even when we are several goals up is a better option for us than falling back into a low block :lolol:

Imagine when I found it full of biscuits and castles instead …

I vote renaming the ‘Cruyff turn’ the ‘Dunk turn’ to honour Le Capitaine

That will be Pascal Gross's honour

Lewis needs something more ...... tangible

There are a few exceptions.
Read the link. The names are alphabetical. Leo Sayer is no longer used, neither is Mickey Adams nor Zamora.
Norman Cook has never been used.

Maybe not, but exceptions have been made from time to time, and will be again. l well remember seeing Micky and Bobby Zee's names on bus fronts back in the day.

I quote from the link

So since 1999, every new bus that has entered the fleet has been named after a deceased person.

We could get a train named after him? That's bigger than a bus.

yup, but won’t be used half the time because the driver will be in strike.
If it is running it will be late
and it will be short, only 3 carriages.

None of which could be attributes of our Dunky
