On one of your lunchbreak moan-offs? Make sure you finish your jacket spud first, or the butter flying from your mouth in every vitriolic bite might over-grease your keyboard. That could be embarrassing also when you have spotty fingertips and shake hands with another member of the grumble club and it bursts and splats acne juice on both your cuffs.

Best post of the year to date, superb.:clap:

Out of those teams, how many have been in La Liga in the last 20 years or ever in that case? I see two B teams, ans about 4/5 others I recognise (I don't do FM).
If you compare the strengths, history, attendances, achievements, finance of La liga B and the Championship there is no comparison.

My argument is simple. Stop buying mediocre players that will probably make little difference to the overall team who would probably be dumped if we ever got promoted anyway, and save the pennies to buy players who would make an impact now and could progress in any future PL campaign.

I'm only a rare visitor here, but it's quite obvious you haven't got the first clue what you're on about.

If it was the same problem in August, then why didn't we do the deal then so he'd have the passport ready for January 1st, instead of leaving it until now and risking the same thing happening again?

Good grief, our club can be embarrassing at times.

Maybe the player back then was not entitled to a Spanish passport but now is, for what ever reason the deal could not be done so Gus went for alternatives but still kept tabs on his progress and now interested player again with the lack of goals etc.

Well off the top of my head - Almeria, Villareral, Las Palmas, Numancia, Gijon, Xerex, Santander and Hercules have been in the top flight in the past ten years. You are talking crap.

I hope Gus speaks clearly when reading out the team sheet, otherwise there might be a repeatedly disappointed winger: "Ees no complicated Kaz, I say Leo Ulloa, not Lua Lua. For you, the bench."

Let's hope that is the problem. Just waiting for the process to be completed rather than starting from scratch.

You think attendances dictate how good the league is? The only facts here are that you obviously aren't very knowledgeable about European football.

Yes, but you're picking facts that suit your point and have extremely little relevance, ATTENDANCES to back up your point he wont be much good.

Attendances don't mean he's shit, Rangers get higher crowds than Juve, and we get higher crowds than most la liga teams, doesn't mean we should turn down most of their players.

You could look at the facts like Becchio, played in a LOWER league in Spain for most of his pre-Leeds career, and had a MUCH WORSE scoring record. But no, lets slag of Liga B because they don't have many fans.

Yeah take Michu at Swansea, 2 million and rated as the buy of the season, look up his career details to reinforce your arguement, Spanish div 2 then one season in LaLiga with newly promoted team.
Sometimes you have to take a gamble.
