Why don't people give Dwayne a break. Obviously I wasn't posting when he mentioned some of his comments (Foe and dead sister) so cannot comment. However, some of you just take the piss.

But it is not just Dwayne. Others have also been insulted and it's just not on. What have some of these people done to warrent insults?

I think someone knows exactly what I am talking about.

The Foe incident was unforgivable I'm afraid to suggest he'd been doing drugs after collapsing on a pitch is bound to get people annoyed and have a go.

Not sure about the dead sister one though. There is a long history with Dwayne going back a few years and some people will never forget I'm afraid.

It's a tricky one. To an extent, dwayne brings it on himself as he is a complete Benny Bullshit, but I do think that some people don't know when to stop. There are now two threads, 3 or 4 pages long having a pop at dwayne because one of them was mildly offensive.

I can't comment on a lot of what goes on here as I think most of the time they are isolated incidents, but with Dwayne it is a litany of things, far too numerous to post.

Also, if you see some of his additions to some thread he just puts the posters straight down and then gets abusive when people question him.

Finally, I suspect that a lot of what is written on both sides is with tongue planted firmly in cheek.

Having said that, it has got a lot worse of late...

I don't agree with you at all Beach Hut. I read and re-read that thread several times and I can't believe he was jumped on to such an extent. Dwayne only said what must have been going through some people's mind, especially given some of the recent headlines. Perhaps he was insensitive, but words like "unforgiveable" are wide of the mark as far as I'm concerned. "Unforgiveable" is raping a granny, or smashing a 2 year old's skull with a hammer - not suggesting that a professional footballer might have been on steroids because he bizarrely collapsed on a football pitch.

Anyone would think that Marc Vivien Foe was the brother of someone on this board the way he was attacked.

I am also relating to another incident which Dwayne and another person on here will probably know what I am talking about. It is v embarrasing, hurtful and insulting. So I think it's going to be less talk on here.

Can't agree with you Simster, feelings are always high about major incidents in football and I don't believe anyone was thinking steroids etc at the time - he touched a raw nerve and got a reaction, quite probably what was hoped.

Anyway rather than have a feud as Ricky Gervais said - "Let's agree to disagree".

I will say though that posting personal attacks about what people do in their private life may offend some people but Dwayne does have a habit of taking threads to where he wants them as opposed to what they were originally about.

However not many threads stay relevant to the topic these days unless no brainers like PTB, the person above you etc.

With the Foe incident, it was probably Dwayne's timing to be honest. He said it in the immediate aftermath rather than leaving it til later.

It is a bit like the Twin Towers. Everybody thought that it would be coming because of America's foreign policy and their support of Israel. When it happened, people were shocked and formed their own opinions pretty quickly, but people gave the Americans a bit of a chance to grieve before spouting their theories.

I realise Foe isn't on the same scale as the amount of people that lost their lives on 11/9, but the same sort of principles seem to apply.

Very true. But if it bothers people then they should stick him on their ignore list. I have FG on my ignore list and so do many others. Consequently at least half his posts are ignored and the thread takes the appropriate direction.

The other thing with the Foe incident was that the accusation of drug-taking was posted in a thread that was in memory of the man and was going to be sent to a Manchester City message board.

This is where the word 'ignore' comes into it's own. I don't mean put people on the ignore list necessarily, although I do have one or two people like FG & Mullers on my ignore list.

Just don't bother answering them. Threads will drop out the page within 3 hours and forgotten.

I have only answered Dwayne once this last week despite all his attention seeking. The only reason I answered him then was that he named me as talking to someone who was involved in some sort of altercation.

BrightonBird you attract just as much attention as Dwayne does by reacting. Forget it and talk about better things
