I've had a bit of banter with Dwayne on The Ivy thread and I stand by my comments that I think he can be a pompous twat. He didn't need to mention that he paid £300 a throw for his meal, or that he had a bottle of 'Dommy Pom' thrown in.

However ................

I've never met him so any comments I post are firmly tongue in cheek and written purely to illicit a further reponse. That's what I love about NSC. You can have a laugh. When I played football every Saturday, one of the things I looked forward to most of all was the banter in the Dressing Room and the (sometimes merciless) piss-taking that goes on.

NSC is an extension of that environment and I love it. Yes I think Dwayne is a prat, but that is based on what he writes and only that. I would like to meet him and have a beer and talk about football and all the other stuff blokes talk about in pubs and that's why I asked in the thread whether he was going tonight.

I don't agree with Monster Munch's comment above. If you don't like what someone posts, move on and find a thread you like. If you feel strongly about something someone has said, post a reply.

Anyway, Dwayne is my hero because he called me skinny!!! A bottle of Dommy Pom is on the way to you (or is it Pomagne)

I personally have never had a problem with Dwayne.

I am also relating to another incident which Dwayne and another person on here will probably know what I am talking about. It is v embarrasing, hurtful and insulting. So I think it's going to be less talk on here.

Not sure if im still on your ignore list BB, so u might not read this, but writing things like that which elude to certain incidents is only going to make people want to know more

I have dwayne on my ignore list and I think you'll find I don't get involved in petty squabbles. My comments were about the time that dwayne first appeared about 2-3 years ago and he made NSC so unbearable that a lot of good posters have virtually disappeared forever, which was a shame.

As in life - I find it best to ignore attention seekers - you very rarely learn anything new, true or worthwhile from them.

They tend to regurgitate and sensationalize half-baked stories - often claiming personal knowledge or involvement where none is due.

They are sad acts - there are much more interesting and worthwhile people to spend your time with.

My ignore list helps - but good intelligent, witty, informed and friendly banter is what sites like NSC thrive on.

Don't rise to it. If it does provoke a reaction, talk about the facts not the people - and move on - even if it's ring tones or sandwich fillings!!

NSC has been up and down in the last 2 years, and seems a bit down at the moment, lees good people are posting good stuff.

It seems to me that the most important thing is to rescue NSC and return it to the state that it deserves - the place where every Albion supporter wants to be.

Sadly, that's no longer the case. We've lost a lot of good people.

Agree with Yorkie all the way, BB - dont rise to it.
I have experienced some personal abuse on here and it make you wonder why? I have not upset anyone.
It must be kept in persepective, NSC is a playground for people like Dwayne, he must be ignored if you dont like it or he will thrive on your every angered post.
NSC isnt what it used to be, but I seem to remember Dave The Eagle gibing a lot of shit too in the old days, stop looking back and look to the future...........the future is NSC and the future is Falmer.....cheer up everyone.
