Barcelona for me: one of the worst places I've ever been to. You spend all your time being hassled by prozzies and druggies and if you get into a bar or a restaurant, the staff will pointedly ignore you until you leave. A hell-hole of the first order. I've been offered two freebie trips there since but I wouldn't go again if I was paid to go there.

I thought it might just have been me but I've spoken to several people who have had the same experience. I know a few Spanish people and even they have a low opinion of the place. Truly awful.

Close behind is Dubai; it looks like Croydon, except it's too bloody hot to do anything. At least it has the old souk - that's quite interesting.

The problem with 'arselona is the people, they have this belief that if you're not Catalonian you're not human. Self opinionated gits. Come to Coruna.

worst place for me has to be johnasseburg, went there with my mum and her boyfriend for 2 summers, and stayed in one of the worst places of it with his family., absolute shit hole, know some other southafricans who dont like it either. almost got mugged and shot by some blokes, not the best thing to write home about!! its a dump!

Strange, I've always liked Barcelona when I've been there.
