League Cup 3rd Round: Brighton going for a Burton

A so called easy, quote/unquote, home draw, if we have to get a biggun, tickets for Arse away will be easier than in the FA cup or for next seasons league match (cue Burnley fans). Midweeks are better for me too. Just as long as it doesn't clash with Lewes away, (oct 1), I haven't looked when the 3rd round is

When was the last time we made the third round ? I remember losing at Swindon Town in 1994. We went out of three cups in one week.

Edit: Quite recently. I seem to mistake these third round games for the second round.

We seem to get decent cup ties when the bigger teams are involved so because of that I think we'll get a dull away trip to MK Dons or Derby.

Hoping for Palace at home.

Winners of Villa/Orient at home. Either a winnable game against a PL side, or the return of Russell Slade, Dean Cox...

Arsenal/Chelsea away. NOT somewhere exciting and far away that I wouldn't be able to get to on a weeknight.

It's bound to be Liverpool at the Amex, especially rigged for Sky Sports!

First choice, Palace at home.
Second choice, Palace away.
Third choice, anyone else at home,
