A flotilla of small boats stolen from the Marina should do it. Or
a private charter.

Failing that I'll probably do Porstmouth to le Havre for £18 return.

But sounds like a right crack..and I LIKE FRANCE!!

On a slightly different note, wouldnt it be a REFRESHING change to see people getting excited as much about PRESTON and BURNLEY ??

Who said we were not up for going to those games aswell?

Clearly our remaining games mean everything to us as fans and I will be there as will many others.

So why shouldn't we also get excited about setting foot into Europe for a pre-seson match, after all this season has again been a roller coaster affair so its been a welcome distraction to get 'excited' about the match.

Oh dear, I didnt actually say we SHOULDNT look forward to it, for me its just the sort of Spursesque hysteria that for me kind of sums up our support over the past few years, of course as you say the fans will turn up in numbers for Preson and Burnley (?) but wouldnt it be a little ironic if we took more to Le Havre than either of those games.

Ironic or sad, hmmm, I cant decide.

OK we are all Brighton fans on here and this is a Brighton fans forum, so please tell me why we are not allowed to talk about Le Havre and get excited about it?
After all it is concerning OUR team and this is a Brighton fans forum is it not ?

You appear to be knocking our away support aswell saying we wont turn up in numbers for Preston and Burnley.
Preston is on Tuesday so I doubt many would go anyway probably 400 max.

Maybe 750 to Burnley ?

1500 to Coventry, same again to Rotherham?
Not bad really!
I would say we have turned up everywhere in numbers this season(except those who stayed at home when 450 odd of us went to Cardiff). and our away support has been fantastic.

I dont think it would be ironic or sad. Couple of summer days on the piss in France with some footy thrown in or a long drive on a wet saturday to Preston/Burnley. Hmmm. Sounds like a nice little holiday to me

Private boat hire is going to be the way forward for this one. Just follow the ferry and run the thing up on to a beach and sort it out later. :drink:

Well, of course I would love to be with the GDC on this one but unfortunately I will have to put up with lying on a beach in sunny Croatia instead. :D
