Despite relegation last season I really enjoyed it. Big clubs, big grounds and big atmospheres.

And away at most of the big guns in the Division, both the team and the fans gave performances to be proud of.

So, despite the sad ending to the story, did you enjoy last season?

Fantastic season appart from the obvious. Especially as none of us thought we'd be getting to the 1st div before we got to Falmer.

That's why I so want us to go up again, yes it will be sad if we get relegated again, but I loved it!

Id much rather go up again to be relegated and say at least we gave it another go than spend another season in this shit division and see crowds get less and less.

I loved it. Even when we were losing to Forest the atmosphere was brilliant
(I know why you enjoyed the victory against Forest Locky  )

Highlight for me was Reading away. They had been going on all season about how they coped better with div 1 than we did.

yes, if only to vist loads of decent new grounds
plus I think we played 10 times better than we are now with virtually the same squad!

The minus side was relagation and bigger hooligan broblems, like being in the finnigans wake when sheffield united fans tried to smash it up!

Last year was excellent after Coppell arrived. Ipswich away always makes me smile just thinking about it as does Kitsons goal V Reading away. I honestly thought we would stay up after that.

hell yeah! wish I'd gone to more away games...infact ANY away games but still enjoyed the home matches and the run in tot he end of the season.

Despite some desperate, desperate moments (Watford, Palace and Stoke away immediately spring to mind) for the most part it was a cracking season. Visited some superb grounds (fulfilled an ambition in going to the City Ground) and had some brilliant away days.

Was a real rollercoast of a season, from losing ten in a row under twatface, to actually having survival in our own hands after the Reading game. Such a shame that we just couldn't grind out a couple more results at home to Preston and Sheffield Wednesday. Normally they would have been in keeping with a struggling side, but the mountain we were given to climb from October meant that we had very little margin by then and it was just too much.

Didn't cry at Grimsby as we've been through far worse, but still can't help thinking what might have been if Coppell had been given the job when he first applied.

Still, onwards and upwards and all that.

I enjoyed it even the game at Grimsby just the whole day, drinking at the pub which we took over and going on the pitch afterwards:lolol: My fave games were Forest away (we were voted best away fans by them ) and Reading. We played great football that season and I wouldn't mind going through it all again.

Brilliant year! Looks even better now...

Highlight was Mayo's last minute winner against Derby and the Wolves job!:lolol: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

The last half of the season was fantasic. Wolves, Forest, and Watford at home being the highlights. Despite defeats, the trips to Stoke and Derby plus the draw at Coventry, where we murdered them 0-0, were great days out.
