Loved the fact that I saw so many games in so many new places and stadia, and had the balls to start going to games on my tod. Being injured most of last season myself meant I could go to loads of games. The atmosphere was always fantastic, no matter what the score. (aside from the game that never happened in Croydon)
what i loved most about the season was seeing top quality football at withdean and at the away matches(preston and reading etc) seeing people like ravinelli on the bench and christie getting sent off never really settled in...great season and to be part of a great dogfight was so exciting
With the exception of the 1080 minutes worth of defeats on the bounce, I loved every minute of it.
From the opening day win at Burnley to Sheffield Utd, Norwich and Reading away games were absolutley brilliant! Stuffing Wolves at home was a result of the season in my opinion. Despite the last day drama and ultimately heartbreak at Grimsby I think we can look back with heads held high that we gave it our all and fought till the end
A great season. Home games, even during Hinch's time, were action packed with a good atmosphere, remember Sheffield United, Gillingham, Grimsby at home. Some great grounds from the few away matches I went to, the City Ground being a favourite.
This is exactly why we must go up this season. If we do lose the momentum and dont go up we could be faced wit playing shit teams every week and 6,000 at Withdean instead of 6,800........
For the most part I had a great time last season - we only went down on the last day, so it was far from a lost cause, and we had some great results and away days.
