Chapter 6 covering Denial is also where it references weaponsing the trauma of victims for political ends. It's reprehensible

Yes, that’s what has been happening for decades, and it’s not a surprise. The Casey Report is merely franking a well understood public understanding of how this country’s political and wider establishment has dealt with the mass rape of white working class children.

It’s now about who goes to prison, who gets deported and who has their reputation, and hopefully public pension eviscerated.

Good to see that you are waiting for the results of the new inquiry before jumping to conclusions. And what if it doesn't find what you expect, another inquiry ?

And what if they don't find this ? Another inquiry ?
Don’t be a muppet.
It’s obvious to everyone that’s payed any attention that this whole situation stinks and that the previous inquiry didn’t touch the sides.

Also, to even suggest nothing may come out of this is an insult to the victims and shows a lack of any common decency and compassion.

Honestly…

Withdean area
Baroness Casey today explained very clearly why there now has to be a national enquiry into this particular abuse and why she changed her mind. Only one council Oldham offered to follow up on her original proposal of a local enquiry.

The victims and their solicitors want this.

Why on earth would anyone be against their wishes?

There is a lot of talk about the two inquiries I to grooming gangs on here. And as mentioned the ethnicity of said gangs.

A concern I raised earlier was that these inquiries would delay strategies to stop CSE and improve the processes around it. There are plenty of things to do that are already evidence based and working in other countries.

Does anyone know what changes and strategies have already/are being implemented?
