That's the second time you've tried to insult my intelligence by implying I don't know what I'm talking about, and for the second time, I'm telling you you're wrong.

By all means offer an opinion about the relative merits of Kuipers and Henderson, and our opinions may (and do) differ, but your history as a goalkeeper, while giving you insight and experience of the finer points of goalkeeping, does not give you absolute knowledge and authority over others to the extent of implying I don't know what I'm talking about.
Absolute knowledge, no. Useful insights, yes.

We cant achieve f*** all till we get Falmer.

Kuipers isnt one for the future.

Henderson is. Henderson will f*** off if we dont play him.

He's a good young keeper.

My assesment of Kuipers and Henderson.

FDM Henderson
Shot stopping 8/10 7/10

Distribution with feet 7/10 8/10

Distribution with hands 6/10 8/10

Coming for crosses 7/10 6/10

Not a lot of difference at the moment, but as Henderson is on international duty we don't know if Kuipers is in on Satyrday by merit of default. But by today's standards perhaps Henderson could argue if he was dropped?
Was Henderson still feeling his back injury that he had Wednesday night?

Utter SHIT I'm afraid.

Kuipers isn't one for the future? Hmmmm, so we shouldn't play our best players if they're not under 24?

What about Mayo? Shouldn't we be playing Rents? Santos, Carpenter? Ones for the future?

Henderson is costing us goals. He should not be in the team. This has nothing to do with falmer and the fact that anyone thinks it does makes me fell ILL.

That's my bottom line too - people waste acres of cyberspace on here about the importance of man management and the importance of consistency of selection. McGhee has a challenge now that a few fans are getting on Hendo's back, even quite a few, and I hope McGhee rises to that challenge.

Think you're rewriting history there a bit - Kuipers pushed it straight back out just as Hendo did, the only difference being that at this higher level, the better striker reacted far more quickly and got there first. There was no difference at all in the actual save.

Go back and watch some of the end of season videos from the last five years and compare his push outs to that of say Petterson (Similar to Hendo's ones). Kuipers seems to some how push them out of the 18 yard box.

So we need to play a keeper who keeps costing us daft goals, to stop him from going? :dunce:
He's one for the future! He will be AWESOME next season in LEague Two.

Henderson is infinitly better than Kuipers, a lot of people seem to think that because Kuipers was here in the Adams era he has a divine right to waltz into the time, despite his short comings as a player compared to Henderson, shame the same treatment isn't extended to Mayo. Also Kuipers playing today wouldn't have stopped any of the goals IMO, except this board wouldnt be full of tripe about hoe rubbish Henderson is, you'd be blaming one/all of the defenders for not giving him any cover. The reason we got Henderson in the first place was because Kuipers got injured, the reason we had barmy Ben is because Kuipers was injured, if Kuipers can play a few games in a row without rupturing something he may be worth considering, until then Henderson should play, he's not an Irish international because he can grow potatoes you know :glare:

So we come to the Kuipers is injury prone thing again. We got Hendo because Kuipers was brave making an outstanding save against Forest.

Did you know Hendo was injured before todays game even started. He has a hip problem and I saw him trying to strech it at least 3 times during the game. He also had the same problem last season I seem to remember but they thought it was his back.

Other Goalies can make outstanding saves without breaking themselves Kuipers out :jester:

I think this is a debate that will only be settled when Kuipers plays against Brizzle City, and either, turns up and plays a blinder, or gets nutmeged by a 35 yard header.

I've defended Henderson but I cannot see how anyone can possibly think he merits a place on that performance. Luckily lardo's hand has been forced for at least one game (as it has with Mayo - although I wholly expect to see Reid at leftback :nono: ).

That's the problem ... :(

We finally see the back of the worst left-back in the division, only to likely see the second-worst one come in. Except Reid's got an excuse, what with being a right-footed midfielder and all.
