Why is every kuipers fan so biased towards him. He had an absolutely discraceful game today, and still people are saying that he had a prety solid game.

When henderson played like that, he was ridiculed and campains started to get him replaced.

So i just want to know why so many fans are hipocritical when it comes to Kuipers.

wherever the money is
It is because of his god like status amongst some on here. He was awful today but not a single grumble from the fans when he messed up early on. If that was Hendo people would have been going mental. I still cheered him when he came out and at the end but that is because I support the team whomever is playing even if I feel they should not be playing.

This is getting f***ing ridiculous.

Every little mistake Hendo made, the Kuipers fans are all over this board like a rash saying how shit he is. Every little mistake Kuipers makes, the Hendo fans are all over this board like a rash saying how shit he is. ITS BORING AS HELL.

Fact is, they are both decent lower division keepers who have both had good, bad and indifferent games for the Albion. If every decent save, dodgy punch, slip-up and misunderstanding is going to be examined under a microscope and presented as "evidence" for or against either of them, then these boring f***ing threads will never end.

Some of you, no doubt, are just CREAMING yourselves every week for Kuipers to f*** up, just so you can come on here all smug and start yet another "SEE SEE I TOLD YOU I TOLD YOU DIDN'T I TELL YOU ?, WE SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH HENDO WE SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH HENDO, SEE I TOLD YOU, SEE ?" blah blah blah thread. Well bollocks, stick it up your arse. Kuipers has the shirt, he WANTS to play for the club, he's kept 3 clean sheets in a row and we has a decent young understudy in Sullivan who can learn a hell of a lot off a good, experienced pro like Michel.

Hendo is history, start dealing with it.

Can I post on here,I thought Henderson was worse than useless, and Kuipers is the messiah
See, I can't agree with that. Henderson wasn't "worse than useless" at all. He went through a dip in form, but he's a reasonable keeper for this level and will get better with age and experience.

This is half the problem - people seem to polarise their opinions of Kuipers and Henderson to ridiculous extremes - they're either "utter shit" or "complete legends", there's never any middle ground.

If Hendo had a better attitude I'd be more than happy to have him and Kuipers battling for the shirt, as they're BOTH good keepers. Unfortunately Hendo doesn't take kindly to having to fight for his place in the team, so its best for all concerned that he went. But I regret him going, he could've been good for us.

At least when Kuipers fumbled the ball it never resulted in a goal.

why was every Henderson fan so biased towards him ? its fanpower loyalty mate - whatever Wilkins did on the keeper front it would've been wrong in somebodies eyes and quite frankly the constant moaning about it is beyond belief quite like anything i've read on this board for a while

i'm not sure EXACTLY why so many people have a problem with Kuipers but overall i think it was pretty level between the two whilst they were both at the club but if Kuipers was having a bad run , Hendo was at the top of his game and vice versa

now due to split loyalties we've lost one (i still don't believe thats the actual reason i think a golden opportunity to put himself in Stauntons eyes was a main factor for joining Preston) and all the best to him like , now can this whole bloody bitchiness end and at least TRY and support whoevers between the sticks

thanks :)

Lets get one thing straight, would henderson have stayed even if he was sent fan mail everyday, mobbed and kissed after every game by his critics..............me thinks no. Forget the boo boys, he was dropped twice and handed in a transfer request twice, and if he cant take flak he shouldnt be a pro footballer. i have lost count of the amount of mistakes the bloke has made that have led to goals. i beleive kuipers was a huge reason for the back to back title seasons, but was overshadowed by bobby. Some of the match winning saves that bloke made were unreal(the bristol city 2-1 home win sticks in my mind). I think we havent seen the best of him for a couple of seasons but i believe now he is no 1 again, the more games will bring back any confidence he has lost.
im glad we cashed in on henderson i think he is grossly overrated, and kuipers is just a far more reliable keeper, 3 clean sheets in a row must show what hes bringing to the team, yes his kicking is shit. But if a forward cant tackle, as long as he scores goals, hes done his job.
