Kodjia to Derby ££!!

That only works if you get promoted. Same as when/if Bournmouth return to the Championship. Derby will get a transfer embargo if they fail. Maybe that they know they are going to fail and one is on the way so they may as well blow it all before it happens

Bournemouth have paid the FFP "fine" imposed by the Football League.

Teams bolster their transfers during the season they fail to meet FFP so a transfer embargo means nothing. If Derby arent promoted they still wont need to buy anybody to have a squad to get promoted next season.

£39m of FFP losses is equivalent to about £60m of actual losses as many types of expenditure are excluded.

Which current or former Championship team(s) are you referring to here and what makes you think that Derby will fail FFP this season?

Just assuming Derby with their spending unless they sell a few before Wednesday. Bournemouth did it so the embargo didnt affect them. Sheff Wed must be very near as must Forest but neither have bought many this window they bought them last season . Newcastle and Villa have had a big turnaround of players but that is due to parachute payments.

What do you think might be excluded from FFP in BHAFC Ltd's accounts? Academy running costs I seem to remember as being an exempt item but what else. Stadium and Training Ground rental?
