The only thing more ridiculous than his performance was his hairut.

OK, for all you Mayo scapegoaters, explain to me his faulty role in the two goals? Genuinely intrigued :)
The first had nothing to do with him, nor the build up to the second, but that wasn't a tough clearance of the line really. Overall it wasn't his best day by a long way, and the lack of an alternative is a concern.

The way its been for two seasons now.

Perhaps his slug-like non-intervention in the ball trickling over the line for the second goal may have been done differently
Ah, I see - he's meant to stop a goal that came from his TOTALLY OPPOSITE WING.

Really disappointed by this scapegoating but frankly, this is NSC, what do you expect? :)

I would hope that he could have got back in time got on his knees and headed it off the line he had so much time.

YES, when it's rolling into the goal infront of him I think it's fair to expect him to clear it.

Well, you may have been technically AT the game, but you obviously had very little idea of what you were watching :nono:

Never has been good enough really. Knows his limitations so can just about make it at this level. Wouldn't get another club IMHO and we have needed a new left back for 3 years. Shame because he's a top bloke and is as commited as anyone out there.

I'll have a look at the replay but from what I saw, once the guy got it over Hendo it was game over, but I'll be interested to see if some rescue was possible :)

How on earth is it scapegoating! Are we not allowed to say players played poorly? ???

And I think you'll find it's NOT NSC, pretty much everyone who was at the game would say Mayo was poor.
