I was unsure whether he deserved a new contract this season but over these first 3 games he's shown he's thoroughly deserved it - well done Kezza

Yes. We looked good for the first half an hour. After that we could barely string two passes together.

It is not just about the goals, LI. It is about putting extra pressure on the other players and perhaps contributing to the goals, plus taking ball away from our attacking play.

Perhaps his slug-like non-intervention in the ball trickling over the line for the second goal may have been done differently

(tho I'd still put the goal down to Henderson's continuing reluctance to come off his line - a flaw in his game that needs the urgent attentions of a goal-keeping coach)
