Give the boy a chance.

He hasn't had enough time on the pitch this season to convince me either way. Scored a cracker in the friendly v Spurs, but his final ball needs improving IMO.

I am sure his time will come. As others have said with Noone on the pitch, it's hard to fine a place for him at the moment.

Although the two players are obviously stylistic opposites, we made one big mistake in not getting Chris Wood, a young player with obvious potential, back here at the start of the season.

Although he has struggled and been a bit patchy so far, I hope we don't make another mistake in not at least trying to keep KLL here. The talent is there, we know that, and his time will come.

According to Gus we were never in the running for him, so calling it a 'big mistake' is probably a bit harsh.

He was much better than "good" by League One standards. Teams couldn't even get close to him.
This. In League One he was in a different stratosphere to the hapless mortals given the impossible task of trying to contain him... he was simply AMAZING when fit last year.

I am still completely convinced that he is an extremely effective attacking player and that his time will come at Championship level and possibly higher.

you can't just knock the ball past Championship full backs and skin them for pace.

Isn't that what Buckley does? seems to work for him.

I think it is too early to write him off as he really hasn't had much game time and certainly not a run in the side and some players take a few games to get into their stride and really show what they can do and unfortunately at the moment we aren't in a position to play someone into form right now. I think once the team is really settled towards the end of this month and especially with the number of fixtures over the christmas period, i think we'll see more of him and then can see if he can show the form from last year. As someone else mentioned he is only 20

One thing is for sure, his asking price will have dropped markedly.

So its all part of the Gus masterplan.....I like it. Buy him on the cheap in January and then unleash the secret weapon

He was/is a very good League 1 player, but you can't just knock the ball past Championship full backs and skin them for pace. He needs to have more about him, like Noone - turns full backs inside out and they don't know how to deal with him!

I too hope he gets more of a chance to shine before January, as I can't see him wanting to stay and not play!

Saw him do it in the premiership last season against Chelsea. The problem with him this year is that you can't do anything whilst warming the bench whatever division you are playing in.

I'd like to see Kazenga on the bench tonight as a minimum. We need to be absolutely sure that he can't cut it in the championship before letting him go- a decision that could come back to haunt us if we are not careful..

Too be fair in the little time he has played, I don't think he has a problem going past full backs and getting crosses into the danger areas. I don't think thats his problem at all.

Indeed. I seem to recall him raping (copyright W. Aspinall) Blackpool's right back when he came on and getting good balls in the box.

The reason he doesn't play is because of Noone who has been immense this season
