It's such a shame to see such a key player from last season turn into a player who can barely get 20 minutes for us ! :(

I personally think he still has a huge part to play but his loan expires in January and at this rate it doesn't look like he'll be returning. I think since his injury he's lost that extra yard of pace, hopefully he'll feature more in the next few games because I think he's still got a point to prove.

Key player last season is a bit OTT.

Good League One player, but looks lacking for Championship for above

I suppose you're right but until his injury he was very key.

Before his injury he would have been last season's star player. Now though he's off the pace and lacking confidence. Unfortunately I think he may have to go out on loan elsewhere where fans expectations of him won't be as high as ours (having seen what he could do last year)

Far too early to write him off for us. He's been as much a victim of our formation and Noone's form this season as his injury. His value will have fallen by January with lack of appearances so I can see us making a bid. Still could be a key player as the season wears on.

He was/is a very good League 1 player, but you can't just knock the ball past Championship full backs and skin them for pace. He needs to have more about him, like Noone - turns full backs inside out and they don't know how to deal with him!

I too hope he gets more of a chance to shine before January, as I can't see him wanting to stay and not play!

Hes 20 for gods sake !

This BOY will get better and better. Going to be a top quality player one day, I for one will be delighted if we keep him.

I really hope we don't let him go in January. He is a great talent and he hasn't had a chance this season due to the form of Noone. He's only 20 and is still recovering from a serious injury, we need to get him signed up permanently and develop him into a top player. We aren't going to hold on to Noone for that much longer if he keeps playing the way he has been anyway.

Worth a £200k punt in January ? NUFC will bite our hands off with a bid in that region.

I actually think the key difference this year is that defensively he is a high risk player to have on the field. He has been left dazed and confused a couple of times by overlapping full backs. If he can regain a little of that match sharpness, after a nasty injury and pick up a few key points on defending, he could still be a major asset to us.

in a similar vein, imagine being a QPR fan and watching the demise of Tarrabt

Gus seemed to love everything about him last season and was always really gushing about him, in contrast he seems to have gone very cold on him this year

He has looked a bit one trick pony on the very few occasions I've seen him this year. Move from side to side, kick the ball past the defender make a run leave a trailing foot that the defender clips, falls down gets a free kick, we waste it. On the occasions he's got past the defender he's looked quite dangerous though.

I think Kazenga's lack of opportunities comes because of the good form (through hard trying and skill) of Nooney. I like Kazenga's change of direction in the Barnes goal. If ever Macca got injured (God forbid), maybe he could play a vital role? Kazenga looked sharp against Liverpool.

Buckley seems to have been able to get straight back in the team after injury though so I don't think Noone's form has anything to do with KLL not playing

Too be fair in the little time he has played, I don't think he has a problem going past full backs and getting crosses into the danger areas. I don't think thats his problem at all.

His problem is he doesn't track back and defend like the others do, and I think this is the key reason why he finds himself out of the team.
