Can't remember who originally suggested it but thought it wad inspired at the time. Somehow it just got overlooked. Don't like the ones with the number on the end - just trying to copy the Liverpool Torres song when we don't actually need to. And 25 hardly has the same historic football connotations outside of Brighton as 'number 9'

Sounds and flows better without the 2nd 'when' to my ears as it'll get lost when people sing it and breaks it up too much. Also doesn't need the 'and' in each of the last two lines.

I'd also suggest following the words with a verse of na na na na's to the same tune as that sounds ace when the whole crowd get behind it here (although I can only find a crappy video of it [YT]pq8z038puA4[/YT])

It doesn't scan though. There's one syllable too many in 'When Kazenga goes down the wing.."

Come to think of it.. the original poster of this had a first line something like..

Kazenga goes flying down the wing.... which does work better. Originally, it said 'faster than an Exocet' and in true NSC style the song got completely forgotten with everyone talking about missiles, and whether it should be 'jumbo jet'. I changed it to 'fighter' so if it does get sung, obviously I'll be seeking a cut of the royalties
