As Matt Le Tissier would say, it makes you wonder?Basically missing pretty much the same games he’d have missed anyway
…especially now the same applies to Adingra……As Matt Le Tissier would say, it makes you wonder?
Adingra too? Bloody hell, what have we done to deserve this?…especially now the same applies to Adingra……
Odd thing is we were going to lose them both for most/all of January at least anyway, so we’re not in much worse a position than we otherwise would have been. Arguably the rest/recuperation will be more use as the season progresses than scooting off around the world playing more games……Adingra too? Bloody hell, what have we done to deserve this?
Doesn't really mean anything does it? If he's injured, he won't play.Called up for Japan...
Unless they deem his injury less serious than us. Also their needs are different. If they decide he can play but will worsen the injury by the time the tournament is done they won't care.Doesn't really mean anything does it? If he's injured, he won't play.
My guess is that they want to assess the injury themselves.Called up for Japan...
Kaoru Mitoma: Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi surprised by injured winger's Japan call-up for Asian Cup
Kaoru Mitoma is included in Japan's Asian Cup squad despite being ruled out for up to six weeks with an ankle injury.www.bbc.co.uk
I can’t believe they’d be that cynical. Maybe his exact recovery timescale is unknown and they want him to be around if they progress in the compUnless they deem his injury less serious than us. Of course they won't. The Japanese have respect.Unless they deem his injury less serious than us. Also their needs are different. If they decide he can play but will worsen the injury by the time the tournament is done they won't care.
Would we rest a player so they would be fitter for a national team? Would we rest Dunk, say, so he would be more rested and less susceptible to injury for England? No. So why should they?Of course they won't. The Japanese have respect.
Knock out a quick PhD in Keepie-Uppies, back in Brighton in time for tea and medals.Free trip home to Japan. Quick inspection by their medical team. Declared unfit. Stays for a week with his family.
