I got it deferred, got the impression that you have a option to defer it but only once, Had a letter saying it had been deferred until May ! ****ing May, though it was going to be for a couple of years.
Will have to ring then nearer the time to try and be excused this time citing being self employed, only advice is to go for exclusion rather than deferral and it only for a few week

I thought deferral was for a year in the official notes, but you can only do it once.

I'm booked in for jury service at Hove from 14 Feb. Not something I'm particularly looking forward to.

Think it's probably already been mentioned But if jury service leaves you financially at a loss.
You are not expected to have to do it
