Reggae legend Gregory Isaacs sadly passed away this week, but the Stripes and the stadium go marching on.
Nice to meet NSC's "Art vs Science" this morning who also took a few photos.
The mesh fencing is now being erected at the back of the West Stand, and the north-west corner has started to be enclosed.
It's all go on the concourse work.
See you on the terracing at Posh tomorrow.
3 lots of 5 coming up. :amex:

On a serious note - how will we on NSC be able to thank you for what has been an immense body of work and dedication over the past few years?

Safe to say that this thread has been the most anticipated thing on a friday for a lot of us; especially those who live in other parts of the county/country/continent/world.

Just think you are in line for some sort of accolade - that's all.

Thank you very much for these very kind words.
Truly, it has been a real pleasure and no problem.
It's comments such as yours that makes it so worth while.
What would be nice would be for everyone to buy a JSAECS calendar 2011 (details to be posted in the next week), and next year, buy the 2012 one too!
This would raise a tremendous sum for our Supporters' Club, who last year put the calendar proceeds towards buying Peter Ward's shirt.
Thanks once again.

The Jack Straw Season Ticket Fund should be set up. I think if everyone that got something out of JS's weekly thread put in £5 he'd have a season ticket for life.

'Tis a truely magical thing that you do JS.

Excellent work and I echo Fire & Skills words. Working in Leeds, over looking both the City and in the distant a clapped out Elland Road, your pics are always eagerly anticipated.

Just one question Batch 1 , Pic 3 - that looks like loft insulation on the roof. Surely not?

Agreed, as long as we don't pay the whole lot for his 1901 package! :lolol:

Lovely update again Graeme.
Shame the path behind the north stand has gone now.

If the weather is OK tomorrow morning (and I have the time) I may get along there to do that section.

Mr Straw was the very deserving winner of the Roger Harris Memorial Shield last year. This is awarded by the Brighton & Hove Albion Collectors & Historians Society (BHACHS) to the person(s) who have contributed the most to the preservation of the history of the Albion. There are some illustrious names from our recent history who have won this award and Graeme fully deserves his place on the list.
