Good player on his day, and can change a game. But 10 goals from open play in 2 seasons…. If his name was Neal Maupay people would be saying get rid

I think that the rumour that things have been smoothed out in house behind the scenes is encouraging if true. With his head in the right place he is an undeniable asset to us 🤞

A stroppy disruptive JP will need to be moved on however good he is though imo

I think he'll want Champions League football next season. Spurs might be a good shout, much better than Richarlison. And then Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal can't be ruled out. Newcastle are big admirers too and might now have the financial wiggle room to sign him.

£70m and I think we'll have done well.

All summer , most of the squad - purely on basis there's some random X post saying "X have bidded for..." or because someone will give a funny look after Spurs next week or well, why not ? - will get the NSC verdict "HE"S OFF" . Its a time honoured tradition from now and until the end of the window.
I saw someone yesterday analysing a photo of Mitoma utterly convinced he had a tear in his eye - hence "HE"S OFF".

23 year old, Brazilian international forward with a 1 in 3 goals to game ratio. Sounds like a player we'd love to sign if he wasn't ours, unlikely we could afford him though.

Absolutely should be trying to keep him at the club.
Take out penalties (which admittedly he’s brilliant at) and the ratio you’re quoting is more like 1 in 6.

I like Joao Pedro a lot but it doesn’t seem like that’s a view shared by all his teammates given the way this season’s unravelled. He really let them down at Brentford, for sure. If selling him for a healthy profit helps us fend off bids for some of the other top players in the squad, letting him move on seems like a no-brainer. We’ve got a wealth of options in his best position. The lack of back-up for Welbeck needs to be addressed, even if he stays.
