I’ll wait for Tim Vickery’s input on this one. The guy seems to never be wrong.
He did indicate Buonanotte wasn’t a PL player yet. I think he’s off the mark on that one.

Possibly, time will tell - he hasn’t started a game just yet but I expect we’ll get a proper look at him against Stoke.

He has got some weird agreement in place with Spurs

Yeah, Tottenham have some sort of first option (that's only valid for first 10 days of July AFAIK) back from last summer when they sold Lo Celso to Betis but reportedly Johnny is not too keen on moving to Spurs and prefers to stay at Betis. We'll see though, maybe he'll change his mind now that Spurs will play the CL.

There is some weird sell on if he goes to anyone else as well, seems really odd

I’ve followed Betis for years ever since a student of mine became the worlds most expensive footballer when he moved to them from São Paulo, Denilson.
I have seen them play a few times in Seville and the supporters are amazing, Seville is for the privileged and Betis the flamen/ gypsy team.
So want them to win tonight just hope they can hold it together
