Whilst Ferguson will (rightly) get all the credit, I thought Sarmiento was brilliant today too.

Works a lot harder than you'd expect for such a 'flashy' player and his footwork for his assist was excellent too. Not bad for his first proper start in the Premier League.

Improved 2nd half - a bit ineffective in that central role and lightweight but worked very hard and got a very key assist! Sarmiento to Ferguson in the prem at Goodison - it was an u23 link up til recently - fantastic!

Definitely improved..seems a wide player to me. I'd like to see him on the right in the cup.

Not currently suited to being our number 10, but grew into the game and great that he got an assist. Needs a better first touch with his back to goal, but worked hard in a good team performance

Second half he was great, has some serious talent.

Have to admit I was starting to be a little unimpressed, but then the skill for the second goal, fantastic
