Surely he’ll be back at Millwall?

They couldn't afford him a year ago. They allegedly were willing to make him their record signing, but that was not enough - though in retrospect I think we should have taken it. Yeh, hindsight is a wonderful thing .................
Would be good if we can get him a decent loan, but TBH if the lad just wants to be off we can hardly blame him.

Great move.
Still convinced he can have a future in the EPL with us longer term

Great opportunity but will have to fight for a place. Hope he can do it.

He really needs to move on to further his career imo, He's a good player but he's behind a lot of very good players for a place in the team here. Something must be on the cards given he wasn't in the squad on Tuesday?

Unless they change their system, no chance he plays ahead of Livermore or Mowatt if they are both fit. Not sure this is the right move personally

“With a view to a permanent move”
Shame but hopefully there’s a fee and a sell-on clause

In fairness what kind of dumbass team chasing promotion would sign a promising young player with plenty of experience outside the prem and a couple of cup appearances for Brighton and NOT have a clause to sign the permanently if they do well and help get them promoted (even if it's for £15m or something).

:)

Shame really, but it shows how far we've come when we're able to let players like this go. Good luck to him with another albion and we might get to see him next season if all goes well.

The kind of club that knows that his bestest friend in the whole wide world plays for them as well so they don't need such a clause as he will pay them to sign for them. In theory, of course.

Really good move for Molumby - he needs games - WBA are the quality team in the Championship and he will get to contribute there. Surprised at the fee suggested - a total of £3million but as has been said, it probably includes a sell-on fee. Good for everyone I would say.

No, about half that.

OK ............. I thought they offered a club record (for them) - which would have been a bit more. Even if they hadn't, the difference would have probably covered his wages for for 2020-22, so still might have been worth taking.
