You cannot argue that he's not a good player.

You also cannot argue that he's not an absolute bell end.
Depends how you define good. Is he a Premier League standard player, yes. Is he one of the better attacking midfielders in the EPL, I don’t think so.

Giving it the big un to the ref about extra time being signalled while subs were being made. Who the f—k does he think he is? Does he really need it explained to him that the ref is indicating a MINIMUM time to be added. How he doesn’t get booked is appalling, it just encourages the prat.

Overrated.

Thought we played him really well.

The pathetic dive in front of the linesman was something else…..only the tw@t fell for it…

It really was, thought JPvH, Dunk, Lamptey and Gilmour were all outstanding.

Lamptey understandably tired.

Edit - Lallana was feckin brilliant at times as well……
A few more good performances and JPVH will be player of the season for me. Veltz obvs second.

Steele had a good game as well.

But then all the commentators (who call for dissent to be stamped out) would be moaning that it had ruined the match as a spectacle.....
Warren Aspinal the radio Sussex commentator thought he should have been sent off.

Not sure why it’s a sending off in non league but not PL

He is the love child of most football commentators, an entertainer for sure but I always wonder about the end product to reputation ratio

Everything about ‘Madders’ makes me cringe. Maupay sussed him.

They would be right. It would have. But it would be Madison's actions that ruined it not the referee.

An entertainer? In what way?

An entertainer? In what way?
Quite. If he wasn’t English and didn’t do all that mirthless “bants” bolox which he and he alone clearly thinks is so cute no one would find him remotely entertaining in any way. He’s a twat.

Tough crowd

84 goals/assists in 177 games in PL

Seems pretty good to me and I imagine most
Nope a knob. Should have seen red after 2 bookings today. Ref useless
