Unfortunately he was rushed back from recovering from his original injury far too early by Crystal Palace (Freedman?). Apparently the tissue/muscle around the break never healed properly and he is now prone to set backs and injury due to this weakness - marry this to his reknown mental fragility and he could never be the player he was which is a great pity.
This is a great shame if true, Williams was one of the few Palace players I would have happily had in the Albion first team without having to think twice. Hope he is able to come back and also that Hunt is back sooner rather than later - as others have said, I'd prefer to see a full-strength Palace getting turned-over every week :) :thumbsup:
